The benefits of chess
From several years of teaching chess, we have seen the many benefits that it brings to children.
These include:
-
improving concentration and memory
-
fostering logic and problem-solving skills
-
developing a creative mindset
All of these skills undoubtedly help them in other areas of their education and personal development.

Most importantly, we have seen the growth in confidence that playing chess can give children of all abilities. All children can gain the considerable benefits of learning this enjoyable game.
"We would highly recommend Richard Jones as a chess teacher. He introduced our son and daughter to the game which they have both found very enjoyable. They developed skills which also helped in other areas of the life, especially increasing their ability to concentrate."
